“Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language”

That is a Henry James quote that reminds me of something my granmother would have said, as she certainly loved sipping ice tea on a hot summer afternoon......It has been a busy summer as they always are....My summer was filled with trips to the beach, long bike rides, special time spent with family near and far, an eye surgery, lazy days by the pool, two books down and working on the third, and a fabulous Arcade Fire/Spoon show! But it really has been a long time since I have had a "summer." One that was filled with heat and humidity. I could have done with a little less of the humidity, but it sure was nice to feel heat against my skin.
